The agreement

These terms govern your use of DevTee, operated by Center Pixel, Inc. ("we", "us"). By installing the desktop client, creating an account, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms.

Beta status

DevTee is in private beta. Features may change, APIs may break, and availability is not guaranteed. We will give design partners as much notice as we reasonably can about meaningful changes.

Acceptable use

DevTee captures keystrokes, including the literal text those keystrokes produce, along with window titles, app context, and mouse activity. By installing the desktop client you confirm that you own the machine you're installing it on, or that you have explicit authorization from whoever does, and that everyone whose input will be captured on that machine has been told. Don't deploy DevTee on a teammate's or family member's machine without their informed consent. The desktop client surfaces what it's doing through a menu bar icon and capture indicator; keep that surface visible.

Don't use DevTee to capture data subject to legal protections you haven't satisfied — including but not limited to attorney-client communications, protected health information, or material covered by another party's NDA. Configure per-app or per-window capture rules before typing anything you don't want captured.

Your data

You retain ownership of the observations DevTee captures from your devices. See the privacy page for a full inventory of what we collect, where it lives, who can see it, and how to export or delete it.
